On a scientific and academic level many of us attended elite schools and most of us have advanced degrees. Many have held positions at some of the most prestigious research institutions, Universities and "Think Tanks" on the planet. We have throughout our history been active in many International working groups and standardization bodies in the fields of Information technology. As among the world's foremost authorities on information management we have consulted and continue to consult and provide technology to, among others, state and national governments in dozens of countries. Many of our projects have been under the aegis of the German Government (among others, the Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung and the BMFSFJ), European Union and the United Nations.
